Easy Crockpot Applesauce

This applesauce was a hit with my kids! I had four jars full and they didn’t last me through the week.

1. Peel, core, and quarter 16 apples. (I used 3 different varieties). This is the most time consuming step. I recommend having your husband do this part!
2. Place in your crockpot with 1/4 cup water and 1-2 T. cinnamon.

3. Cook on high for four hours.
4. Mash up with a potato masher, or blend if you prefer a smoother consistency.
*You can also add a bit of sugar at the end, but I found it was sweet enough without it.

And for a special treat, try it warm out of the crockpot and served over vanilla ice cream. Yum!
