Back to School = Time for Elderberry Syrup

Charlotte started 1st grade this week! She was so cute and very excited about it. The day before her first day of class she woke up with a stuffy nose and I was worried she would miss the first day of class…so I got a batch of Elderberry-Echinacea Syrup going right away.

It was a good reminder to me that with Fall on it’s way and the start of school, I need to get back in the habit of using all my cold season immunity boosters.

Not only do I try to keep Elderberry Syrup on hand during the cold season, but I also love using essential oils to build immunity.

Although it might not seem like cold season is here yet, now’s the perfect time to stock up on all the herbs and essential oils you will need during the coming months. I purchase my essential oils from doTerra and my herbs from Mountain Rose Herbs.

What do you use to build immunity during cold and flu season?

  1. Thanks for sharing! We use doTERRA and Mountain Rose Herbs too and LOVE them. Also, thanks for sharing that syrup recipe. It sounds amazing! I was just going to make some elderberry/rosehip Echinacea syrup but this sounds better. Yum!
