This post is part of a 31 day series.
Sometimes all I really need is a change of perspective. When I went through a particularly hard time last year, when everything in my life was anything but mundane, I remember thinking that I would give anything for an uneventful day, a “normal” day.
So sometimes now when I have a day that is fairly uneventful, and I’m feeling like my life is so mundane, I stop and remind myself that this uneventful day is something to be so very thankful for. That I would rather have this day where nothing out of the ordinary happens, then have a day full of hopelessness and despair.
Sometimes I think one of the best ways to find meaning in the mundane is to embrace it. To be thankful that I have a day full of the mundane instead of what could be.
