31 days of finding meaning in the mundane {day 13} make routines meaningful

This post is part of a 31 day series.

We all have daily routines and things we have to get done each day. These are the mundane. They don’t bring a whole lot of meaning to life, but they certainly can’t be skipped.

But we can take some of our daily routines and turn them into something more meaningful.

Think through your daily routines and choose a few that you can make into something more meaningful. Here are a few ideas:

  • Make your daily commute more meaningful by using the time to pray, listen to an audio book, or make a phone call to connect with a good friend.
  • Use your time getting ready in the morning to get a right mindset by having a quote or verse that encourages you clearly visible to focus on while you get ready for your day.

What are some things you do to make ordinary, every day routines more meaningful?
