This post is part of a 31 day series.

Having a rhythm or routine to your days might not be the first thing that comes to mind when seeking meaning in everyday, practical tasks. But for me, if I have a basic rhythm that I follow throughout my day, I find that it gives me more space to look for the meaningful moments in my day.

When I’m scattered and frantic, not having a plan or idea of where I’m going, I find I spend so much time spinning my wheels and trying to get a grasp on the day, that there’s no time left to make space for those meaningful moments I’m seeking.

This post over at Simple Homeschool details 8 ways having a rhythm help’s a mom’s day. For me, one of the biggest benefits to having a rhythm to my day is that it allows for space to build in meaningful moments and routines.

Do you find that having a rhythm or routine to your day leads to more of a mundane day, or more of a meaningful one?
