This post is part of a 31 day series.
Earlier in this series I wrote about counting gifts and how counting my gifts and blessings helps me to slow down and recognize the meaningful in my life, and how it enables me to live in awe.
So today I have some more meaningful moments to share with you from the past couple days:
~the sound of the rain
~the smell of Breakfast Pie filling the house
~watching Charlotte find delight in a new book
~Isaac’s sweet voice saying “I love you.”
~having dinner with friends
I have a little journal where I try to remember to jot down my gifts whenever I can, because as Ann Voskamp writes in One Thousand Gifts, ”…they are just the common things and maybe I don’t even know they are gifts really until I write them down…” (p. 45).
Please feel free to share some of your gifts from this week with me in the comments!
