31 days of finding meaning in the mundane {day 25} create

This post is part of a 31 day series.

I don’t think of myself as an artist in the traditional sense–in that I can’t draw to save my life, I don’t sew, I don’t take amazing photographs. But I do love to create in my own ways. And Emily can convince me I’m an artist.

And when I take time for my art, when I create, I feel alive. I see the meaning in the ordinary everyday.

And so whatever it is that you enjoy creating, however you make your art, I think the important thing is to make time for it.

And if there’s no time…how to make art when there’s no time for art.

Do you find more meaning when you’re taking time to create?
