My Two “Green” Goals for 2013

I’m keeping it simple (and hopefully ensuring success in meeting my goals,) and only setting two “green” goals for this year. This is not to say I may not end up implementing others as I go, but these are two of the bigger ones that I plan to accomplish.

1. Plant a small garden.

We just moved and one of the things I was excited to see at our new place was a small planter box. It’s not much, but I think it’s the perfect size to get me started with a small garden. I’ve always had an herb garden and had a couple tomato plants last year, but I’m looking forward to planting more this year. And I’m open to suggestions for what to plant!

2. Install a Clothesline.

I’ve been wanting to put up a clothesline for awhile now and I think there are some spots that will work at our new place. I’m planning on researching a bit and then shooting to have the clothesline up by the early Spring so I can enjoy its benefits all throughout Spring, Summer, and Fall.

So, that’s it! I’m slowly working on coming up with goals for this year and haven’t pinned them all down yet, but hoping to share the rest here shortly. I’ve been enjoying the 31 Days to Your Goal series over at lifeyourway.net and strongly recommend it if you’re looking for help setting and reaching your goals this year.

  1. I love!!!!! The new look! The top of the home page logo seems to wants to hang off to the right.

  2. These are wonderful goals…two things I also want to do in 2013. We have lived in our home for almost 2 years now and have the clothesline supplies but just haven't put it up yet {pregnancy and needy baby are somewhat to blame but still…} Getting it up is high on my list of things to do this spring!
