Ideally, I’d love to make all my own household products for cleaning, laundry, and dishes, but the reality is that I’m just not there yet. So I’ve found some more natural products that work well for me and that I feel good about using in my home.

1. Laundry Detergent:

Nellie’s NLS-100T All Natural Laundry soda, 100 Load Tin, NLS-100T

I love this laundry soda! For one thing, the packaging is super fun. It works great and a little goes a long way. It’s also HE certified so works well in HE washing machines. I’ve also read lots of positive reviews from cloth diapering moms.

2. Fabric Softener:

Ecover Ecological Fabric Softener Morning Fresh — 32 fl oz

I do make my own dryer sheets and use this fabric softener to do that. Since I only use a little at a time, it also lasts me for awhile.

3. Stain Remover:

Biokleen Bac-Out w/Foaming Action Sprayer 32 oz.

I’ve had great luck with using Biokleen as my stain remover and have had the same bottle for well over a year and still have lots left.

4. Dishwasher Detergent:

GrabGreen Automatic Dishwashing Detergent, Thyme with Fig Leaf

I tried several different natural dishwasher detergents and didn’t have much luck, but this one did the trick! I also really enjoy the thyme with fig leaf scent, although there are other options available. Only problem is, we just moved to a house without a dishwasher, so now I’m on the lookout for a good dish soap. Feel free to share if you’ve found any good ones!
